FrontPage Server Extensions on Vista and Longhorn
Microsoft has released a version of the FrontPage 2002 Server Extensions for Vista or Windows 2008 Server and IIS7: http://blogs.iis. net/bills/archive/2007/10/03/frontpage-server-extensions-fpse-for-iis7-rc0-released.aspx I don't think we have to worry about losing support for quite a long time.

Windows Vista and FrontPage Server Extensions
As the following articles note, FPSE are not going to be included in IIS 7 by default; you will have to install them. I've found out today that FrontPage support is ending and our webhosts cannot afford to continue maintaining an extra server with FP Server Extensions beyond Jan 2008.

The FP Server Extensions are technically finished in that they won't be expanded upon. This doesn't mean they are being abandonded though and a lot of hosts still support them and plan to. They are so popular actually that a special effort is being made to port them to IIS7 in Windows Vista, which wasn't intended
